I've been on a book buying spree. I love buying books almost as much as I love reading them. I've finished Letters from Home by Rhonda Nelson. It was fabulous! It's part of Harelquin Blaze's Uniformly hot series. Currently reading The Soldier also by Rhonda Nelson. It's connected to Letters from Home. I'm loving it so far.
I hope to get the reviews of these two books and the last few I haven't gotten to yet done the first of this week depending on how life goes ;-)
What books have you read or are reading?

Happy Father's Day!
Happy Father's Day to all the dads!
Today I take time to thank my dad for everything he's done for me. I try to thank him daily but that doesn't always happen. My family's been thru a lot in the past 9 years. We've been luckily enough to have each other to get thru those rough times. It has made our bond stronger.
So, dad, thank you for always being there for me. Even if we may not always see eye to eye or understand each other, we always have those moments when we are on the same page with our humor & our thoughts.

Summer Reading = Victoria Dahl

Four fabulous books from Victoria Dahl in four months.
The Wicked West in June
Start Me Up in July
One Week as Lovers in August
"Laird of Midnight" in the Highland Beast anthology in September
I can't wait for Start Me Up (the second book in Tumble Creek series). I loved Talk Me Down, the first in the series. More information on these books can be found at Victoria Dahl's website. Her wittiness can also be found daily on Twitter.

Book Reviews Coming
I have finished Line of Fire by Julie Leto and Next of Kin by C.J. Carmichael. Both are a part of the Code Red series that Harlequin has re-released as special release. I didn't get to read this series the first time the were released. I'm thoroughly enjoying them this go around.
The series can be found on Harlequin under special releases. I'm read Spontaneous Combustion by Bobby Hutchinson now.
I'm enduring the sinus crap that's going around. I will get the reviews up once my sinuses let me come up with thoughts that make sense.

Twitter over Facebook
I prefer Twitter to Facebook.
I update more with Twitter than I do with Facebook. For me, Facebook feels more like a high school reunion. Maybe that's why I feel like I can be more verbal about what I'm doing, reading, or thinking on Twitter. I like reading Twitter updates more than Facebook as well. It just has a different feel to it.
The setup of Twitter is better than Facebook for me too. I have apps for both of them on my BlackBerry. I go into Twitterberry everyday more than once. The Facebook app I might go into once a day if even that.
These days I rarely even go to my Myspace page anymore. I like it even less than Facebook.
Which do you prefer? Why is that your favorite social network? Inquiring minds want to know.

Beach was Fabulous

Oh how I needed the time away! It was so relaxing.
Read Afterburn by Kira Sinclair. I loved it! Spent most
of the time relaxing and enjoying the beach. I'll get my
review of Afterburn up in a few days. Still trying to get
everything back in order here and back to work tomorrow.
I can't wait to go back to the beach.
